Technesis Xerox JBA Integration

iBridge for Xerox

Technesis and Xerox have worked together to deliver an advanced tracking solution for Xerox MFPs and Wide Format devices.

Most cost recovery systems provide print statistics on what is submitted to the printer as opposed to what is actually printed. “As Submitted” tracking does not report cancelled prints, re-prints or other activity that takes place on the printer’s control panel or embedded web server. This results inaccurate reports.

Technesis iBridge integrates with JBA platform (known as Networking Accounting on the Xerox MFPs) on AccXES controllers for Xerox Wide Format devices for tracking and chargeback of copies and scans from JBA enabled MFPs and AccXES driven Wide Format devices.


Technesis iBridge for XEROX JBA
  1. Technesis iBridge uploads the latest active User IDs and Account Codes to the Xerox MFPs and Large Format Plotters.
  2. Users print jobs from their workstation to the Xerox devices. They enter in the account code using Technesis client which is collected by Technesis Console.
  3. Users with Xerox AccXES Client tools on their desktop submit jobs to the Xerox Large Format Plotters. Users enter in their User ID and the Account code.
  4. Users walk up to the Xerox devices Large Format Plotters to scan and copy documents. They log in and choose an Account, and proceed to make copies and scans.
  5. Technesis iBridge collects the job logs from Xerox MFPs and Large Format Plotters complete with all the billing information.
  6. Logs are brought into Technesis Console for tracking and pricing.
  7. Technesis delivers cost recovery and device usage reports.
