iBridge for Ricoh Java Platform

Technesis has been a member of the Ricoh Developer Program since the release of Ricoh’s ESA architecture in 2005. Technesis is also a member of the Ricoh Technology Alliance Program.

Technesis iBridge integrates with Ricoh ESA Java1, Java2 and Java4 devices for tracking and chargeback of scans, copies and faxes from Ricoh MFPs. Gone are the days where users enter in their IDs and bill codes on an external keypad or touchscreens. The Ricoh MFPs have a Technesis applet embedded in the control panel. Users simply walk up to their Ricoh MFPs, sign in, go through their jobs, and sign out. Technesis takes care of the rest.


Technesis iBridge for Ricoh ESA
  1. Users print jobs from their workstation to the Ricoh MFPs. The billing code is entered using Technesis client which is collected by Technesis Console.
  2. Users walk up to the Ricoh MFPs to scan,copy or fax documents. They log in and choose a billing code and proceed to make copies, scans or faxes. Once the users logout, the activity and billing information is downloaded to iBridge.
  3. Logs are brought into Technesis Console for tracking and pricing.
  4. Technesis delivers cost recovery and device usage reports
