Technesis KIP Integration

iBridge for KIP Powerprint

Technesis iBridge enhances the cost accounting capabilities of KIP Powerprint Controllers by automating the upload of user and billing data with the Powerprint Controller. KIP software and print drivers supply the interface for simplified accounting, with Technesis providing the costing and automated report delivery.

Once billing data is received by the Powerprint controller, they are available to be posted for printing, copying and scanning jobs. Users enter in validated billing data and jobs are billed to valid accounts. From there, the job logs are retrieved from the Powerprint controller.

Technesis ibridge uploads the latest active user IDs, projects, media and billtype to the KIP Controller. Users print jobs from their workstation to the KIP Large Format Plotters. Projects, media and billtype are entered using Technesis client which is collected by Technesis Console. Users submit jobs using KIP Request and choose from the latest active projects, media and billtype in the KIP Request ticket. Users walkup to the KIP Large Format Plotters to make copies and Scans. They log in and choose a project, media and billtype. Technesis iBridge collects the job logs from the KIP controller complete with all the billing information. Logs are brought into Technesis Console for tracking and pricing. Technesis delivers cost recovery and device usage reports.
