Technesis iBridge for HP Designjet uses HP Designjet’s Unified Accounting Standard to obtain the job logs and accounting information for plots to the HP. The job logs contain ink usage for that job.

Changing cost recovery – Introducing costing models based on Ink Intensity

Most cost accounting systems cannot support ink level pricing. Well, that’s not going to be an issue with Technesis. Your HP Designjet measures ink consumption for every job that it prints. Technesis takes the print statistics and applies ink intensity level pricing, so line drawings are cost differently than photographic prints.


Technesis iBridge for HP Designjet
  1. Users print jobs from their workstation to the Ricoh MFPs. The billing code is entered using Technesis client which is collected by Technesis Console.
  2. Users walk up to the Ricoh MFPs to scan,copy or fax documents. They log in and choose a billing code and proceed to make copies, scans or faxes. Once the users logout, the activity and billing information is downloaded to iBridge.
  3. Logs are brought into Technesis Console for tracking and pricing.
  4. Technesis delivers cost recovery and device usage reports
