Technesis introduces Abacus Bridge

15 January 2009

Mountain View, CA.Technesis is proud to introduce Technesis Abacus Bridge, a software product that extends the capabilities of the MetaPrint AbacusTM, the print cost recovery system from American Reprographics Company. With Abacus Bridge, Abacus can now include copy and fax tracking from multifunction products (MFP) and facsimile machines. This solution uses Technesis CFCounters to track copies and faxes and logs the activity into Abacus for costing and reporting.

Technesis Abacus Bridge is a logical add-on for users of MetaPrint Abacus who are looking for copy and fax tracking solutions. Technesis Abacus Bridge has been certified to work with the Abacus database, and is setup on the same host computer with Abacus.

"Technesis Abacus Bridge has great benefits for reprographers and their end customers. They get the ease of use of Technesis CFCounters for copy and fax tracking, plus they get the MetaPrint Abacus solution for reporting. This means all prints, copies and faxes are captured and billed," says Paul T. Collart, President of Technesis. "The customers do not miss a reimbursable cost."

Technesis Abacus Bridge is available for immediate placements, and can be purchased directly from Technesis. For inquiries, please contact Kathleen Canda, kcanda@technesis.com
